BarrelsTo our own shock and surprise, the entire batch of sours was reserved in less than 12 hours. Fret not, ye sourheads, for we have been very busy increasing our barrel hoarde.

General ShermanWe started the project with only 4 oak barrels. Today we have over 80 and purchased a 60 HL oak tank (General Sherman) which combined hold over 7000 gallons of fermenting sours in various stages. The next round, indicated by taste and the almighty pH, should be ready to go in August. A big round. More fruit varieties and more bottles, some for reservation, but some for distribution to retail. Patience is a virtue, especially dealing with a beer that takes at least a year from start to finish.

Ard Ri Imperial Red Ale and Infinite Wisdom Tripel

Released pretty much back to back, these two powerful Upland entities will be hitting shelves throughout late March and April. Ard Ri means ‘High King’ in gaelic, clocking in at 9% ABV and 70 IBUs, it has become our steadfast St. Patties day brew.
