Bike and Build Fundraiser

Bike&BuildflyerHey everyone! Meet Maria. Maria is from Indiana and she’s in the business of changing lives. Check out her bio because she’s quite funny. She’s also a med student at IU!

Anyway, Maria rides bikes. She’s competed in IU’s Little 500 and cycling has become quite a passion for her.

She had a couple of friends participate in Bike and Build, a nonprofit org that organizes cross-country trips that benefit affordable housing groups. Now is Maria’s chance to participate.

So, in the spirit of cycling and building homes across America, the Indy Tasting Room, on the corner of College and 49th, is hosting an evening specifically for Maria and the Bike and Build cause. Join us Tuesday, April 17th from 5pm-9pm. 50% of all in-house beer sales will go to Maria to help fund her ride across the country.

If you can’t make it to the event, every dollar helps. Donate here! Maria is very close to reaching her goal! Let’s take her over the top! Here’s to drinking for good causes! We hope to see you next Tuesday! Here’s the Facebook invitation!

Upland Brewing Co. vs. Bloomington Brewing Co. for the YMCA

header-logo-greenJeff Mease of the BBC has challenged Doug Dayhoff to a friendly, snarky, crazy fun YMCA Stationary Bike challenge. They’ve even sent us a video full of smack talk. So, we’re asking you to help us take them down!

At 10am on Saturday, April 21st, at the Farmer’s Market in Bloomington, Doug and Jeff will be competing for the most miles in an hour on a stationary bike. Doug begins his training this week. Join us as we watch Upland Brewing Co bike the Bloomington Brewery Co into the dirt! They’ll be coughing up dust for days!

However, we need to raise 2K to help the YMCA Strong Past, Bright Future Capital Campaign. Learn more about the campaign at the YMCA website. In the meantime, sponsor Doug here. Anyone who donates $25 or more will get an Upland T-Shirt! Tell your friends and get involved.

Let’s help the YMCA make it to the top as we bring the BBC DOWN! Oh snap!
