I’m not gonna lie, the past four weeks have been INCREDIBLE for us over at Upland in many ways. For all of us who work here, we’d like to say it was an incredible workload along with incredible fun and all local breweries received all kinds of love from out-of-towners and locals. The workload was certainly well worth it. It was also incredible to see our community band together and make an amazing host city. …One that is STILL being talked about a week later. And of course, we had to throw a party.
At this time, we need to thank everyone who was involved with pulling this party off. There are really too many to actually list, but we have some key mentions. Young and Laramore Ad Agency, of whom has been helping us re-design our website and helping us with some branding things, teamed up with us and graciously hosted the “Dirty Party in the Clean Zone.”
We had many people as why it was “Dirty Party in the Clean Zone. Since it was technically the first time Indianapolis has ever seen a “Clean Zone,” we must explain what that is. The Clean Zone by definition, is an area of a city in which grants the NFL legal rights to control commercial activity in streets around the Super Bowl. Now, some people find this concept controversial. We decided to make it fun. And since Y&L’s building sat on the border of the clean zone, we named it “Dirty Party…In the Clean Zone.”
Here’s a GREAT video by Brant Hawkins of our very dirty party. (..and thank you, Brant!)
Thank you to PUP for working the event and thank you to everyone who contributed to People for Urban Progress.
And a huge thank you to Kelly Jordan Photography for the super fun photo booth and DJ Helicon for the great music!
