CUMMINS CATERING

WHAT TO EXPECT

Catering orders will include all equipment necessary for service. You will be provided with disposable/compostable plates, cutlery, napkins, and cups in quantities consistent with your order. China and linens are available upon request and will be an additional charge. 

Our attendants will deliver, set up, and pick up your order at your requested location. Orders will be placed outside of your room, unless otherwise requested, 15 minutes prior to service. If you need an attendant to stay throughout the service, please let the Catering Manager know, as this will be an additional charge.

Orders will remain set up as follows: 

  • Half Day Coffee Service – No Refresh: 4 Hours 
  • Full Day Coffee Service – 1 or 2 Refresh: Length of your meeting or event. Please work with the Catering Manager on refresh times 
  • Food Buffets – 1.5 Hours 
  • Snacks – Length of your meeting, at your request

ADDITIONAL SERVICE

If you are hosting an important all-day event or a large-scale meeting that requires more attention than just set-up, delivery and pick-up, we can arrange for you to have a catering attendant to tend to any immediate needs that arise. Speak to our catering manager to schedule an attendant to make sure your event is a success! A catering attendant fee will apply.

ATTENDANCE & FOOD SELECTION

Guest count and food selections are due at the time of booking. We do ask for a 96-hour notice for any changes needed. Increases to the guaranteed number of guests or changes in Food Selection are subject to approval by the event manager. We will make every effort to accommodate additional guests but cannot guarantee availability of additional items as specified in the original order. All requests made within 96 hours of the event are subject to a 25% expedited fee. Guest counts that go down within 96 hours of the event will be charged for the original guest count.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Are you looking to host a seated dinner or cocktail reception? We can plan and execute your event. Events with a guest count of over 100 require more planning with guest and menu selections being due 14 days before the event. Set up a meeting with our Catering Manager to go over your ideas! 

CANCELLATION FEES

Catering orders are made specifically for your meeting or event, Therefore, we do require a 48 notice for cancellations. Deposits are nonrefundable. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.

LATE ARRIVALS

Meals will be served promptly as scheduled. We will do everything we can to accommodate guests in the event that they arrive late, but we cannot make guarantees on the quality of food served beyond the scheduled reservation time.

TAX & SERVICE FEE

Indiana sales tax and a 22% service fee will be applied to all food and beverage. Please note that the service fee is NOT a gratuity, but rather the cost of staffing your event with everyone needed to execute your event to the best of our ability. Taxes and fees may be subject to change. Gratuity may be added; this is up to your discretion.
