At the end of July, our team embarked on an epic road trip to explore The Other Midwest. 1 RV – 1 weekend – 10 people – and lots of beer…. how do you think it turned out?
We hit the road after a day of brewing and headed to St. Louis for the Midwest Belgian Beer Fest!
1st stop: Perennial Artisan Ales
Bright and early Saturday we ventured to one of the biggest and oldest markets west of the Mississippi – the Soulard Farmer’s Market.
A little hair of the dog, fresh donuts, and other goodies and we were on our way.
Next stop: City Museum… it was bad ass.
Then onto the Moto Museum for the Midwest Belgian Beer Fest!
After the fest we packed up and got ready to hit the road again… but not before we loaded up on BBQ.
We rolled into Chicago late Saturday night but had to stop and see our friends at Revolution Brewing.
Sunday morning was Sierra Nevada Beer Camp and we couldn’t have asked for a better day in Chicago.
Then back to Bloomington!
We’re a proud resident of the Other Midwest. It is our mission to help everyone enjoy this oasis, whether you’re just passing through or never leaving. The Other Midwest is more than a nice place, it’s a way of life, and we’re glad to be a part of it.
