Black as night and velvety smooth… We heard your cries and we’re bringing back an old favorite in January: Upland Schwarz! Drinkers often perceive dark colored beers to be inherently “heavier” than their paler counterparts. Upland Schwarzbier proves that a beer can be black in color but as crisp, clean, and approachable as any German inspired lager.

Beer Description: Despite its nearly black appearance, distinct roasted flavors are subdued in Upland Schwarz. Instead, traditional lager yeast and weeks of cold conditioning provide a crisp, clean character with subtle hints of chocolate, caramel, and German noble hops.
