Combining Indiana persimmons and dragonfruit from Thailand? Who would concoct such a divinely subtle concoction of joy and delight? Only the spookily twisted folks at Jolly Pumpkin and Upland Brewing, that’s who.


Permission Slip and Persimmon Ship. It might be a tongue twister, but they are also the names of our collaboration brews with Jolly Pumpkin. Have you tried them yet? Now is your chance!

February 12th, at 6:30pm we will be having a Jolly Pumpkin Collaboration party at our Bloomington Brew Pub! You will be able to taste both collaborations side by side as well as try other Jolly Pumpkin brews with their two guest taps. Jolly Pumpkin taps include: Fuego del Otono, a fall-inspired sour ale, brewed with hints of spice with delicate caramel malt flavors, and a Smoked Gose, a German-style sour ale that originated in Goslar, Germany with lemon tartness provided by lactic acid producing microorganisms. Upland Brewers will be on site to talk about the collaboration and the both brews.

We will also be offering tours of our sour brewery at 7 & 8pm. Cheers!
