Throughout the year, many cities and states celebrate a week focused on their breweries, usually attached to a large festival. In Indiana, we have multiple “beer weeks” all over the state, including Indiana Beer Week in July.
This week, though, is American Craft Beer Week. Running from May 13-19, craft brewers and craft beer havens across the country will hold events in celebration of our industry. We launched American Craft Beer Week with our 2nd Annual Midwest Sour Wild Funk Festival in Broad Ripple in Indianapolis, and we are ending the week at the River Roots Music & Folk Arts Festival in Madison, IN.
In between the weekends, Upland Brewing Company will also have several great events for you to check out:
Thursday, May 16 – Upland Tapping at Boombozz Taphouse, 2430 E 146th St Carmel, IN 46033
– We will have brewery representatives on hand to to talk about our beers, and our beers are on special for $4.
Friday, May 17 – Cobblestone Grill’s Market Eve, 160 S Main St Zionsville, IN 46077.
– Wine, beer and food sampling will be available from 7 pm to 11 pm. Cost is $40.
Friday, May 17-Saturday, May 18 – River Roots Music & Folk Arts Festival, Madison, IN
Opening at 6 pm on Friday, come down to beautiful Madison for two days of music, local beers and wines, and delicious food. Tickets are $25 for both days.
Saturday, May 18 -Twenty Tap, 5406 N College Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46220
