You wouldn’t be far off to think every week is Craft Beer Week in Bloomington. But April 5th-12th, 2014 is when members of the craft beer community from near and far will gather in our hometown and collaborate for an exceptionally awesome time! We have plenty of special events for you to attend this week! We did a joint tap takeover with New Belgium on Monday, featuring our collaboration sour ale Darksynth, and last night’s candlelight beer dinner at the Root Cellar with Bloomington Brewing Company, Quaff On! Brewing, and Cutters Brewing was some of the best dining Bloomington has to offer.

On Thursday April 10th, stop by The Tap for an Oskar Blues and Upland joint tap takeover. Representatives from both breweries will be there, and our new Campside cans will be available! We just canned yesterday for the first time ever- you can read about this new venture here.

The week culminates with the Bloomington Craft Beer Festival April 12th from 4-7pm at the Historic Woolery Mill, an old limestone mill on Bloomington’s south side with beautiful views inside and outside. Over 150 beer selections will be available, along with delicious local food and live music. For tickets to experience this quickly-growing celebration, visit the Brewers of Indiana Guild website at http://www.etix.com/ticket/online/performanceSearch.jsp?performance_id=1799009. After the festival, head back to the Root Cellar to finish out the night with a post-party and beer tasting!
