The weather couldn’t have been better for our annual post-Thanksgiving trail run last weekend! The sun was shining, the sky was clear, and it was just chilly enough to make for a comfortable late-fall run! The turnout was great as well, with a nice mix of serious runners and just-for-funners. Some participants, such as the eight-person relay team, aptly named “Careful, Man, There’s A Beverage Here,” even chose to navigate the trail with beers in hand.
So many factors contributed to making this a great event! But even the best event is only mediocre if it isn’t followed by a killer after-party, which is why we came prepared with tons of great beer, delicious and satisfying turkey chili, and our talented pals the 220 Breakers, to make sure the fun went on well into the evening.
