The lineup for the annual WFHB Acoustic Roots festival, a fundraiser for Bloomington Community Radio focusing on the rich heritage of American roots music, has been announced, and we’re psyched for a full day of world-class music! The festival, held outdoors behind the Upland Brew Pub at 350 W. 11th St. in Bloomington on May 17th from 2:30pm-11pm will include local and regional acts TV Mike and The Scarecrowes, Tim Grimm and Jan Lucas, White Lightning Boys, Indiana Boys, Lexi Len & The Strangers, Otto Mobile and the Moaners, The Underhills, and Jacob Latham. Advance tickets can be found at WFHB, Bloomingfoods, Muddy Boots in Nashville, and the Upland Brew Pub for $15. If you procrastinate and miss the advance ticket sales, don’t get too bummed. Tickets will also be available at the door for $20! We’ve got just about everything you need for the day- Upland food and beer will be available on site, and all proceeds from the festival will go to support WFHB. Just bring yourself, your friends, and your sunscreen!
