With the completion of the Mass Avenue Crit this past weekend, the Team Upland criterium season is slowly coming to a close. This season has been an absolute blast to cover and a major success in terms of podium placements. We saw the emergence of the “Meatheads” power duo Ryan Sheen and Kyle Perry, the continued excellence of Bloomington’s own Chris “Pimp-Daddy” Kroll, as well as the Cat 3 dominance of Peter Gray. Speaking of, Peter Gray reached the podium once more this weekend taking 3rd place in the Mass Ave Crit Cat 3/4 race! A spectacular race and season for Peter!
As sad as it is to see the Crit season end, you will still have ample opportunity to see the Team Upland gents in action this cyclocross season. However more importantly, this coming weekend is the annual Tour De Upland. A weekend extravaganza featuring plenty of beer, music, food, and the best of all, cycling! Several members of the team will be present so now is your chance to ride with the team, get to know them and see what we have been about all season. Be sure to register for your place at this year’s Tour De Upland, it will not disappoint.
